01.I can only see the end - of - day (EOD) data for the DXY instrument, but no real - time data.

Currently, only end - of - day (EOD) data is available for INDEX:DXY, which is updated once a day. However, you can try the symbol TVC:DXY - this CFD offers free real - time data.

02.Why does my U.S. stock data appear incorrect?

a. Occasionally, our U.S. stock data may appear incomplete or slightly different from other sources. You’ll notice that the most obvious discrepancies typically occur in shorter timeframes (i.e., 1 - minute), for inactive or less popular ticker symbols, and during pre - market/post - market sessions with low trading volumes.

b. The reason is that, by default, our charts display real - time U.S. stock data from the Cboe Exchange. This is an alternative exchange with high trading volume, in fact accounting for more than a quarter (25% +) of U.S. stock market trading volume. It doesn’t have any per - user fees charged by the exchange, which means you can use it in real - time without paying. Cboe data for U.S. stock markets is not bad or wrong. It may just be a bit different sometimes, mainly because its trading volume is lower than that of major exchanges, so it provides fewer price updates.

c. Given Cboe’s trading volume, such differences are in most cases not even noticeable or will not have any impact on your analysis. But if these differences are crucial to you, you will need to purchase real - time data from major exchanges (NASDAQ, NYSE, or NYSE Arca). In accordance with exchange regulations, we must collect these fees, remit them to the exchanges, and inform the exchanges of who is accessing their data.

03.I can't find the desired variety in the search box.

Please make sure you have not enabled the exchange or instrument type filter (the top bar of the symbol search window).

04.What's the difference between spot pairs to USD and USDC on Coinbase?

On the Coinbase platform, the USD and USDC markets are unified and share the same chart. However, on TradingView, we provide separate charts for USD and USDC pairs to allow for better differentiation during trading. Their historical and data streams come from the same data source. Depending on the user account type, one of the pairs may be non - tradable.

a. USDTUSD and USDTUSDC are completely different charts with separate data sources, and the same applies to the Coinbase platform;

b. There is no corresponding EURCUSD chart for EURCUSDC, and this is also the case on the Coinbase platform.

05.Trading volume of major NSE stock indices

Indices with trading volume data from the NSE are now a reality. We value user feedback and always strive to ensure our platform is the most convenient and informative.

Recently, many people have been asking us questions like: "Where do you get this data from?" and "How do you calculate it?" Please familiarize yourself with the following information.

Up to now, volume data for Indian stock indices has not been available. Therefore, we have decided to implement independent trading volume calculations for the two most popular Indian indices – NSE:NIFTY and NSE:BANKNIFTY. Over time, we also plan to cover the remaining indices.

Index trading volume is calculated based on the sum of the trading volumes of all constituent components of the index, relevant to the calculation date. If the composition of the index changes, the calculation will be based on the new composition.

For the daily time frame, the index trading volume is equal to the sum of the daily constituent trading volumes. For minute-level time frames, it is the sum of the index trading volumes for the required minutes. The calculation for the remaining time frames is the same as this.

06.Where can I find the average price of cryptocurrencies?

Instruments that display the average price of cryptocurrencies are available under the "CRYPTO:" prefix on fully functional charts. These indices (crypto assets) are calculated by TradingView. You can find more information about crypto assets in the Cryptocurrency filter. How are crypto assets calculated? Crypto assets are calculated in real-time on the TradingView side. We only use crypto spot from exchanges represented on the TradingView platform for calculation. The main formula is the arithmetic mean. Symbols with prices that differ from other sources are excluded from the calculation. The real-time delay is minimal. Why do crypto assets stop updating? If all tickers that make up a cryptocurrency have stopped updating, the algorithm cannot calculate updates for the current time, and the cryptocurrency also stops updating. Such assets will be marked with a delisted label. If the data flow resumes for at least one component, it will also resume the cryptocurrency.

07.Does TradingView display the USD - Bitcoin pairs that are not listed on the exchange?

If the exchange itself does not provide such data, we will independently calculate the missing prices of USD and BTC tokens for some popular exchanges (Binance, Bitfinex, etc. The list may change). These instruments are synthetic and can be calculated using exchange rates from other exchanges.

08.I don’t see trading volume on the daily chart of ICE foreign exchange trading instruments.

Our provider only offers trading volume for intraday charts of ICE (with timeframes shorter than 1 day). Please try using foreign exchange tickers from FXCM or OANDA, as these tickers have trading volume data for all timeframes.

01.How can I cancel my subscription if I can't access my Google account/Apple ID?

a. Unfortunately, we are unable to cancel the subscription in your Google Account / Apple ID.

b. Please follow these instructions for Google Account / Apple ID to try to regain access to your account, or contact Google / Apple customer service.

02.I want to cancel the auto - renewal of the subscription purchased through the mobile app.

a. You can cancel the automatic renewal of subscriptions purchased through the corresponding store's mobile app. You can find more details on how to do this here: Google Play Help and Apple Help.

b. After canceling a subscription, you can still use the subscription for the period you have already paid for. After that, the subscription will be canceled.

c. Payment and cancellation dates can be viewed in the app settings -> Subscriptions, or in the app of the corresponding store.

d. The trial period can only be used once. Therefore, if you decide to renew the subscription after canceling the trial period, you will be charged immediately.

e. If your subscription was purchased through the Android app, you can pause the subscription and resume it at any time in accordance with Google Play terms, instead of canceling it.

03.I received an email from TradingView stating that my subscription cannot be automatically renewed.

Typically, the system will attempt to process the payment within three days. Therefore, if you update your payment method or resolve banking issues after the first or even the second attempt, there is no need to worry. Your subscription will be successfully renewed. You just need to wait for our system to try again.

04.I can't pay for the subscription / I didn't receive a successful payment notification in the mobile app.

a. When making a payment through the Google Play / Apple mobile app, the payment will be approved within a few seconds. If, for some reason, the payment has not been completed, attempts will be made to process it multiple times until the payment is completed or a fund debit error is displayed.

b. If the payment is declined, please check the card balance and whether the payment method can be used for purchases on Google Play / Apple, and try to resubmit the payment. You will only be charged once. Please note that payments are not accepted in some countries/regions in accordance with Google Play and Apple policies.

05.For the second-year plan, I was charged a fee without a discount.

We only offer discounts for the first 12 months. Annual subscriptions are renewed at the regular rate.

06.I was charged the full-year fee in advance.

We offer a discount when you pay for a full year in advance. Our monthly subscription price is fixed.

07.I am not a U.S. resident. Why am I being taxed?

In fact, this has nothing to do with the United States. If taxes are added to your subscription price, it means you are a resident of a country or region where we are registered for tax purposes. More information can be found here.

08.Why is the subscription price different in my app?

When you decide to subscribe, the price you see in the mobile app may differ from the price listed on the website. This is to be expected because different platforms (Google Play, App Store) use different payment processors/systems and have specific policies, fees, and methods of notifying users about these fees, including taxes, etc. All of these factors are independent of TradingView and can lead to the price differences you may observe across various platforms (i.e., mobile apps and the website).

01.Does it support automated trading?

We are considering implementing this in the future, but cannot provide any estimated time of arrival.

02.TradingView does not support my broker. Can you add it?

a. We are working hard to integrate new brokers into TradingView. However, due to technical difficulties and regulations, this process takes time.

b. In addition, we have implemented a REST API that allows new brokers to connect to TradingView. Brokers not yet available on our platform and cryptocurrency brokers can use this tool for integration.

c. You can contact the cryptocurrency exchange or the broker you wish to connect to TradingView and suggest that they use the aforementioned API to connect to our interface. This is the most effective way to initiate this process.

03.I want to trade without risking losses. What should I do?

a、Paper Trading. It is designed to execute simulated trades on TradingView without taking risks. To trade with paper trading, simply open a chart, then open the trading panel at the bottom and select Paper Trading in the broker section.

b、Broker's demo accounts. Most brokers supported by TradingView offer demo accounts that can be used for trading. You need to create a demo account on the broker's website, then select the broker in the trading panel at the bottom of the chart and log in with the credentials of the broker's demo account.

04.Why is there no GTC order?

We do not offer GTC (Good 'Til Cancelled) orders in paper trading to avoid stacking orders that will never be executed.

05.I have already opened a position, but I haven't seen any changes.

First, make sure the position size is large enough to show profit/loss changes. Please note that in forex paper trading, the amount should be set in units rather than lots, which is why you need to specify quantities such as 1000, 2000, etc.

06.Why did my purchase exceed the balance limit?

The standard demo account balance is $100,000. However, you can place orders with a trading value that exceeds the purchasing power of your paper trading balance. If a position is closed and the loss is greater than the current account balance, it will show a negative number.

07.Where can I find my positions and orders in the mobile app?

You can view your current positions, orders, and other available useful information (such as account balance) in the trading panel. To do this, simply click on the broker icon displayed on the chart.

08.The Leap: When can I start contest trading?

a. Please note that you can start trading immediately after the contest begins.

b. There may be some time between when you sign up for the contest and when the contest starts. To ensure fair conditions for all participants, it is not possible to place orders before the contest begins.

c. On the contest page, you can see from the start when you can begin preparing for trading, which will increase your chances of winning.

d. If you miss the start of the contest but haven’t missed the opportunity to participate and sign up, you can start trading immediately after the contest begins.
